Albury/Wodonga attracts racegoers from far and wide for horse racing events such as the Albury Gold Cup, Wodonga Gold Cup and Wodonga Boxing Day Races.

The world renowned wines of Rutherglen are only a short 30 minute drive from Albury. Further wine regions on Albury’s doorstep include the King Valley, Milawa, Beechworth, Alpine Valleys and Glenrowan. Such a large variety of different wines produced for a relatively small region.

Snowfields

Albury is a great base to locate yourselves to explore the Victorian Snowfields of Falls Creek, Mt Hotham and Mt Buffalo. Experience downhill and cross-country skiing and snowboarding for all skill levels as well as toboggan trails, snow tubing and further family activities.

Regular buses are available throughout the winter season. When the snow melts there is still plenty to do in the Alpine High Country, including road cycling, bushwalking, four-wheel driving, fishing, mountain biking and much more.
